Children’s Story Time is a mainstay of public libraries and continues to be a popular program in many St. Lawrence County libraries. Libraries host storytime for a wide variety of reasons that may include entertainment and community outreach. National Library Week will be observed April 9-15, 2017 with the theme, “Libraries Transform.” First sponsored in 1958, National Library Week is a national observance sponsored by the American Library Association (ALA) and libraries across the country each April.
